We’re Emily & David White.

Welcome! I started this blog in 2020 during a time where the world was in chaos and I felt like I was in a professional rut. Stuck inside, I started styling little areas of our small apartment and taking photos to show off my new-found hobby. I realized that I was finding so much joy in creating classic, timeless spaces in our home and that people were connecting with what I was sharing! Hence, We’re the Whites was born.

Flash forward two years later and We’re the Whites has become a community of fellow home-lovers who are passionate about creating spaces that not only look beautiful but feel warm and welcoming for those that dwell in them.

In 2021, we bought our first home, a 1oo year old colonial fixer-upper and became first-time parents to our son, Axel. Throughout my pregnancy, I documented our renovation progress by sharing weekly updates and ways we were restoring the former glory of our historic home with care and love.

With a mix of vintage treasures (a lot of vintage treasures) and modern touches, we have already breathed so much new life into these walls and are excited to continue to bring you along with us.
