Given the craziness of 2020, we wanted to keep our decorations simple this year with warm, natural elements like touches of wood accents and lots of real garland. This is Ruby’s favorite spot in the house - she loves to keep track of all of our comings and goings.

This is a rarely seen view of our home. Right off the main entry way is this little nook that we turned into a catch-all for extra umbrellas, shoes and keys! This vintage desk is one of my favorite pieces we own!

Welcome to our dining room! I really think this is the prettiest spot in our apartment with vintage radiators, detailed wainscoting, and original windows that bring in the best light! David and I have taken full advantage of the large dining table while we’ve been working from home.

I love having little styled vignettes all around the house - makes every little corner feel special!

I picked up this pretty plaid fabric from Hobby Lobby last minute and it’s the perfect table runner! I’m always a fan of a simple tablescape - all you need are some candles, and a little greenery to make an everyday table feel elevated!

Now, onto the living room!

This is the room we definitely spend the most time in! Every evening you can find us here curled up on the couch and unwinding from the day with a big glass of wine (or a Diet Coke in my case).

My reading nook! This little alcove was made for a Christmas tree and when it’s all lit up, it looks so cozy and welcoming from the street below!

Honestly, this might be my favorite part of our holiday tour - the Kitchen! This was by far, the biggest project we tackled when we moved into this condo. The cabinets were in rough shape and and all the finishes were super outdated. We updated all the cabinets and appliances, added some new hardware and fresh paint and - voila!

The Bedroom! This is actually our guest bedroom (we have yet to tackle our master bedroom). I love how the light filters in behind the bed and makes this space feel so fresh and cozy at the same time. The best part of the cold Chicago weather is that we can bust out our festive flannel sheets - they’re David’s favvvvorite thing.

And that’s a wrap! I hope you enjoyed our little holiday tour - I’m so proud of the way it turned out! Now if our house could only stay this clean foreverr…. tell me, what was your favorite part?! Happy Holidays Everyone!
