My Favorite Floral Wallpaper
I love traditional design and one of the aspects I love most is the historic use of wallpaper. Wallpaper has been used for centuries to add texture, interest, and color to homes and it’s a perfect way to make a statement in any space, no matter how small.
We used one of my favorite classic floral wallpapers from Morris. and Co in Axel’s nursery and although it’s not colorful, the texture and pattern add depth to the walls and make his room feel super elegant. I also used another great Morris and Co. wallpaper in my mom’s library. We wanted the wallpaper to be the focal point of the room so we chose this particular pattern for it’s bright, classic colors and timeless feel.
I have lots of plans to use more wallpaper throughout our home (we’re installing a beautiful mural-esque pattern in our dining room) but there are so many amazing options out there I don’t know how I’ll ever decide which ones to use — if i had enough walls I think I would use them all!
