Trending: Candle Sconces

If you’ve spent any time perusing on Pinterest or Instagram you may have seen candle sconces popping up more and more throughout your feed. These gorgeous fixtures are making a huge comeback in the interior design space and I am obsessed. Before there was electricity, candle sconces were a strictly functional way to light up dark spaces without having to carry around candles everywhere. Overtime, they became more of an element of design and a means to decorate your home.

I picked up these silver plated candle sconces at a local antique store and decided to hang them in our entryway where we don’t have any hardwiring. They add so much character to our walls and it literally took David about five minutes to hang them up. The best part? No electrician required! I see them pop up on my FB Marketplace feed all the time (check out my FB Marketplace tips here) and even modern retailers are adding them to their stores.

Candle sconces are a perfect way to add visual interest and warmth to a room with minimal effort - always a win in my book!

So where exactly should you install these? They work pretty much anywhere! I love seeing them installed on either side of a bed, in between two windows, in the kitchen or dining room- or even running down the length of a hallway like ours. You can also play around with different colors and textures by switching out the candles every once in a while.
